Jamestown, (CSi) The Jamestown Regional Airport Authority will advertise for bids on building a nine-bay T-shaped hangar.
The estimated cost of $917,000 is without having determined how to pay for the building.
The Airport Authority approved seeking bids on a 6-1, with Mayor Katie Andersen opposed.
Steve Aldinger, project engineer with Interstate Engineering, says he should be able to get the bid notice in the local newspaper in time for it to run this Saturday.
Bids will be open on Februrary 17th and a recommendation will be brought to the Airport Authority for its February 19th meeting.
