Agnes Reisenauer died on January 19, 2014 at Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City, ND. Visitation will be held Friday, January 24 at Lerud-Schuldt Funeral Home from 5-7pm. The prayer service will be at 7pm. The funeral will be held at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church on Saturday, January 25 at 10:30 am. She will be laid to rest at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in the spring.

Agnes was born April 20, 1929 in Lefor, ND, ND. She was the daughter of Anton and Mary (Haas) Awender. She married George Reisenauer on June 10, 1947 in New England, ND. Into this union 8 children were born. Agnes’s true passion was cooking and baking for others. Her home was always full of family, neighbors, and friends.

She is survived by 7 children Patricia (Donald) Kobs of Menoken, ND; Kenneth (Teresa) Reisenauer of Sonora, CA; Dennis Reisenauer of Valley City, ND; Clara Sims of Valley City, ND; Rita (Steven) Earles of Valley City, ND; Jeffery (Tammy) Reisenauer of Tacoma, WA; and Keith (Debora) Reisenauer of Valley City. She is also survived by numerous sisters, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband George; their son, Ernest; a grandson, Mark Reisenauer; a brother, Richard Awender; and a sister-in-law, Rosie Awender.
