New Jamestown Area Service Guide, Published

Jamestown (CSi) Buffalo City Tourism Director, Searle Swedlund has been promoting Jamestown and the area, at regional events.

On Thursday’s (Mar 13, 2014) Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2 Swedlund said last weekend he attended a sports show in Milwaukee, and prior that sport shows in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

He noted that he was approached by attendees, that said when they retire they plan to live in North Dakota, rather than their current location.

He pointed out that a new Jamestown Area Service Guide has been published and is available to local motels, and other locations where events and activities are attended, published by Tourism and the Jamestown Sun.

The publication includes local businesses, tourism attractions and along with locales to hold conventions, sports, and other events and activities.

He added that the pubic is invited to Buffalo City Tourism, Annual Meeting to be held on Monday March 24, 2014 at the Jamestown Arts Center, at 5:30 p.m., where updates will be given on tourism, and refreshments served.

He said that the official re-branding will be unveiled the first week in May this year.
