Mar 21-23: “Holidays On Ice”

Jamestown (CSi) The 37 Annual James River Figure Skating Club’s Ice Show, “Holidays on Ice,” is coming March 21, 22, and 23, 2014, at John L. Wilson Arena.

On Tuesday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, the Ice Show’s Producer and Costume Coordinator, Elizabeth Sherfy said student tickets for those in grades 6-12, in advance are $6, and $7 at the door. Students in grades k-5 have been given free tickets.

Adult tickets in advance are $8 and $9 at the door.

Advance tickets are available from Gifts From The Heart in Jamestown and from skaters.

The performance on Friday March 21 is at 7-p.m., Saturday March 22, at 2-p.m., and 7-p.m., and Sunday March 23 at 2-p.m.

She said that Holiday’s on Ice will feature various holidays including Christmas, Halloween, the 4^th of July, Veterans Day, Labor Day, and more.

Members of the Jamestown High School Boys hockey team will skate with four high school girls.

The skaters range in age from 3-17-years old, as the club has just finished a successful competition season in the upper mid west, where the skaters in one competition took first place in all areas.

She added that raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each, and the drawings will be for prizes donated by local businesses.

Parents support include in the areas of costuming and many other support area, along with support of businesses and individuals in the area.

The James River Figure Skating Club and the Ice Show are fully sanctioned by the United States Figure Skating Association.
