Call No. 72 March 20th, 11:40PM, ready squad responded to 1410 5th Ave NW, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 54 ppm was detected. Firefighters advised occupant/s to have gas fired equipment serviced by a qualified firm or individual. Cause-gas appliance malfunction. Time out 40 minutes.
Call No. 73 March 21st, 5:36PM, ready squad responded to 1005 2nd Ave SW, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate strange odor. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-paint fumes from neighbor’s garage. Time out 15 minutes.
Call No. 74 March 22nd, 2:33AM, fire department responded to 610 14th St NE, Multi Family Dwelling, to a report of a fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-most probable smoking materials. No firefighter injuries, (3) law enforcement officers checked for smoke inhalation. Time out 4 hours and 30 minutes.
Call No. 75 March 26th, 8:06PM, ready squad responded to 610 14th St NE, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate smoke smell. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire and carbon monoxide none was detected. Cause-smoke smell from the fire that occurred on March 22nd. Time out 40 minutes.
