Rotary_WC1Jamestown (CSi) The 3rd Annual Jamestown Rotary Club’s Wine & Brew-ha-ha is set for Thursday April 24, 2014, from 5:30-p.m., to 7:30-p.m., at the Quality Inn & Suites in Jamestown.

On Tuesday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, spokesperson Mark Olson said, the Quality Inn & Suites in Jamestown is a change in location from previous years.

He added that those attending need to be at least 21 years of age, and that there will be samples of wine and beer from local distributors, along with some restaurants supply samples, of food and appetizers.

Olson said there will also be a silent auction. Those wishing to donate additional items my contact Gail Martin in Jamestown.

Tickets at $15 each are available from any Rotary Club member or at the door.

Olson said proceeds raised go toward Rotary Club projects.

Those include Camp Rokiwan in conjunction with the Jamestown Kiwanis Club.

Other projects include the Mill Hill Christmas lights, and Mill Hill clean up, along with contributing to funding and volunteer work, on the gazebo located at the Stutsman County Memorial Museum grounds, to be dedicated this May.

The Jamestown Rotary Club has been a major contributor to the soccer field at Jamestown High School.

He pointed out that, internationally the Rotary Clubs support funding toward medications and vaccines in the world-wide fight against polio.
