Taxis, Tim 051214Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police wants to warn Jamestown residents regarding a convicted sex offender living with city limits.

50 year old Timothy Alan Taxis is a white male, five feet six inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with hazel eyes and blond hair.

He currently resides at the Starlight Motel, 1610 Business Loop East #2, Jamestown.

His vehicles are a 1992 Chrysler New Yorker ND Lic. JZR252 and a 1985 Dodge Ram 2 door, ND Lic. GEA590.

Taxis was assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota Risk Level Committee of the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office.

On July 25, 2001 he was convicted of indecent exposure in Stutsman County in connection with an incident involving two 11 year old girls in a park, and then following them in a vehicle. Disposition 30 days.

On April 29, 1998 he was convicted in Stutsman County, of indecent exposure involving two female employees of a video store. Disposition 30 days in jail, 24 days suspended.

On May 2, 1994 he was convicted in Stutsman County of gross sexual imposition on three occasions in one week, exposing himself to young girls in the area of a tennis court, on one occasion forcing one of the girls into a sexual act. Disposition 7 years, with 3 years, 6 months suspended.

Taxis is not wanted by police at this time, and is currently serving the sentence imposed by the court.

This notification is meant for public safety and not to increase fear in the community, nor should this information be used to threaten, assault, or intimidate the offender. Attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders or their families, landlords, or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
