Jamestown (CSi) Stutsman County Roads Superintendent Mickey Nenow says roads in Bloom and Rose townships were washed out after last Friday evening’s storms, while the county roads took minimal damage.
Some township roads near Spiritwood are still impassable after record-setting rain fell in the Jamestown area…a record-setting 2.96 inches of rain in Jamestown.
Nenow points out that the washed out roads did not isolate any landowners, and individual townships are responsible for repairing township roads.
Previously…

The storm stalled east of Jamestown for an extended period of time, dumping large amounts of rain in eastern Stutsman & western Barnes. Some roads are closed.
Smaller hail was observed in Jamestown two more times before the storm was over.
