JSDC Studying Plan, More Jamestown Housing

Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation, Executive Committee is looking at a new option to bring housing to Jamestown.

The committee requested the JSDC staff to draft a proposal to use the Bank of North Dakota Flex Pace Affordable Housing Program.

The program can provide an interest rate buy down up to a maximum of $500,000, helping finance affordable multi-family housing units.

Changes are expected to be made before taking it to the full board.

The Executive Committee also tabled a request for a Flex PACE interest buy down from Marvel Homes and tabled a Flex PACE request from Jamestown Row Homes Limited Partnership, which plans to build on the former Essentia Clinic lot in downtown Jamestown.
