Valley City (CSi) The second annual North Dakota Winter Show “Mud Bog” is set for June 14, 2014 during Rally-In-The Valley.
Gates will open at 1 pm, with the Mud Bog starting at 3 pm until approximately 8 pm, with a dance to follow.
The public is invited to come early to see the trucks up close.
Admission into the pit pass from 1 pm – 2 pm General Admission: $10 ~ kids 10 and under: FREE admission (Mud Bog) or $15 (Mud Bog and Dance)
VIP Admission: $50 – includes complimentary drinks and snacks, beer garden, commercial and food vendors will be available on site, before and during the event.
No glass bottles will be allowed on the NDWS grounds or coolers brought in the gates.
Pets are allowed on the NDWS grounds, but must be kept on a leash at all times; please pick up after your pets. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets; no bleacher seating will be available.
Sign up for the kids and adults mud scramble, with sign up sheets on site the day of the event.

General Participant Rules:
Drivers must have their own receiver hitch or a secure tow point, Drivers must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. Anyone under 18 years old must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. A helmet and seat belt must be worn in all classes entered. No passengers will be allowed in the vehicle during the run. Any driver or pit crew member under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to compete. Drivers may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing prior to or during event. A fire extinguisher is mandatory in all vehicles. Event officials reserve the right to deny entry of any vehicle, based on safety concerns.
Winners will be determined by the best time, or distance, if vehicle or driver does not make it through. Vehicles will have two runs per class, with the combined time determining final results. A mandatory drivers meeting will be at held at 2 pm, an hour before the scheduled start time. The running order will be determined by a drawing at that time.
Classes: Four classes will be offered, as specified below, by tire size. There are no motor specifications; “Run what you Brung”. Blowers, NOS and Turbos are welcome, although you must have safety requirements, as in any other sport if you run with these options.
V-tread: No limit to entry numbers in this class. No tire chains or paddles allowed.
39-up DOT: Limited to 20 entries. No tire chains or paddles allowed.
35-38.5 DOT: Limited to 20 entries. No tire chains or paddles allowed. Exhibition: Limited to 10 entries of ATV’s only; no tracks or tire chains allowed. Classes will run in the above order listed, followed by a break and mud scramble events. Classes will then be run through a second time, starting with the exhibition class and ending with the V-tread class.
Entry Fee/Pit Pass: The entry fee for both the V-tread and 39-up DOT class is $40. The 35-38.5 DOT class is $25 and the exhibition class is $10. The entry fee in the first three classes includes a pit pass for one crew member. Entries will be accepted until June 13, or when the limit is reached; drivers will be notified by phone or email of their acceptance.
Class Payouts/Trophies: Trophies will be awarded to the first place drivers; class pay-outs will be as follows:
