Boy Attended To At Municipal Swimming Pool

Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police report that a 5 year old boy, Thursday was attended to, who was participating in the Jamestown Parks and Recreation program at the Jamestown Municipal Swimming Pool.

Officer Jason Prochnow said the call came in at 1:50-p.m., of a  boy  at the bottom of the pool.  He was pulled out by the male lifeguard on duty.

When the police units arrived the boy was breathing and being attended to poolside by the lifeguard, and Jamestown Area Ambulance Service paramedics.

The boy was responsive and talking when he was taken to JRMC for observation.

Police continue the investigation talking to witnesses and those with the Parks Department program.

Jamestown Police was assisted by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.
