ndhpBismarck (CSi)  Last week, troopers and civilian safety inspectors from the North Dakota Highway Patrol participated in the largest targeted commercial vehicle enforcement and educational program in the world.  Roadcheck, sponsored by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, was held June 3-5 and troopers statewide participated.

 During this 72-hour time frame, 440 inspections were completed with 574 violations detected.  Forty vehicles and 12 drivers were placed out-of-service. The majority of the vehicles placed out-of-service had brake, tire, or load securement violations. Several vehicles had multiple violations.
