windmillCourtenay (CSi) Delays in the engineering studies required for connections, has put off the start of a wind farm in the Courtenay area.

The connections wire the wind  farm to the national power grid.

The $350 million wind farm originally planned for construction this year in northern Stutsman County has been delayed to a 2015 completion date.

The project is the largest in North Dakota to be issued a single construction permit by the North Dakota Public Service Commission, with 100 wind turbines with a capacity of 200 megawatts.
