Jamestown (CSi) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers this week, increased the release from Jamestown Dam, after 2.5 inches of rain soaked the area June 18 and 19, 2014
The Jamestown and Pipestem Reservoir levels went up a foot.
Pipestem Dam Manger, Bob Martin, with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, says
the Jamestown Dam increase release went from 150 cfs, to 235 cfs on Monday, June 23, 2014.
The Pipestem Dam releases remains at 215 cfs for a combined release of 450 cfs.
Martin adds that the water level at Jamestown Reservoir is also about 1 foot above normal summer lake levels, fluctuating with rain events.
