Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown City Fire Department was called to a truck and trailer fire about 1:46 p.m., Wednesday at I-94 Exit 258, coming from the east bound lane at Highway 281.

Lt. Sheldon Mohr says the fire was at the truck cab’s right front, axle and the damage extended to the trailer right front area. No injures rported. The estimated fire damage was about $20,000.
The cause was officially listed as an undetermined mechanical malfunction. Four city fire units, and 26 fire fighters were on the scene about 45 minutes.
