JPDbadgeJamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police is asking the public if they have information concerning items a Jamestown plumbing business employee has admitted he took for homes that he worked in.

Chad Gourneau has apologized after he admitted to stealing from people’s homes.

Gourneau was arrested after police found he had stolen nearly $20,000 in coins, jewelry and silver while doing plumbing, heating, and cooling work inside residents homes.

Valley News Live reported that two Jamestown residents called their Whistleblower Hotline after they had found that Gourneau had worked in their home.

Gourneau has been cooperating with police since being caught, and admitted to have stolen from at least 12 houses

Jamestown Police believe he’s stolen from more.

He was formerly employed at Pioneer Plumbing in Jamestown.
