Matt Leitner 2014Jamestown (CSi) Preliminary Jamestown Regional Airport boardings in July this year (2014) have been put at 647, a 262 percent over July 2013 Jamestown enplanements, which were 247.

Airport Manager, Matthew Leitner says the July 2014 boardings were the highest since July of 1978, and second best number of boardings in the past 36 years.

United Express-SkyWest began Essential Air Service to Jamestown on June 5, 2014, with the 50 seat CRJ-200 50-passenger regional jet with service to the Denver hub, replacing the previous carrier, Great Lakes Airlines, which had smaller aircraft, and served the Twin Cities hub.
