Humane Society: Paws In The Park Aug 23

The James River Humane Society will be holding their first annual Paws in the Park on August 23, 2014 at McElroy Park.

The 5K starts at 9-a.m. with registration taking place an hour before. The cost to register is $20 with an additional  $5 to bring your dog to walk with you.

There will be air games, a duck pond, ring toss, cupcake and cookie walk, face painting and kids can get their nails done with paw decals.
