tvflatscreenVIZIO is recalling 245,000 flat screen TVs because the sets can tip over and cause injury to young children and adults.

The recall involves VIZIO’s E-series 39 and 42 inch LED flat screen TVs.

The stand assembly on the sets can unexpectedly break.

The TVs were sold at many major retailers nationwide from December 2013 to June of this year.

VIZIO says customers with the TVs should contact the company for a replacement stand.
