NDstatecapitalBISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – Thousands of North Dakotans have already voted ahead of the Nov. 4 election.

Secretary of State Al Jaeger says North Dakota’s county auditors have mailed out nearly 54,000 applications for absentee ballots, and more than 18,000 people have returned them.

Jaeger says just before noon Friday Oct 18,  399 North Dakotans had marked their ballots for the November election.

The Early Voting Precinct for the November 4, 2014 General Election will be open at the Stutsman County Courthouse (Auditor’s Office) starting Monday, October 20, 2014. All residents of Stutsman County may vote at the Courthouse, 511 2nd Ave SE, Jamestown, ND.

Voting hours:

Monday – Friday Oct 20 – Oct 31 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday Nov 1 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Monday Nov 3 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
