ndhpBISMARCK (CSi)– On October 28 at 6:35 p.m., a group of vehicles were driving in the westbound lanes of I-94 near mile marker 168, a half mile west of the Apple Creek rest area. These vehicles came upon rocks that were scattered on the roadway, ranging in size from small up to the size of a basketball. Four passenger vehicles and a truck tractor were damaged from striking the rocks.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is seeking information on the owner and/or transporter of the rock material that was on the roadway. An owner of an involved vehicle is offering a $500 reward for information.
