Connie Ova 2014Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation CEO Connie Ova has received an average rating of between satisfactory and above average at the JSDC Executive Committee meeting.

JSDC President Gary Riffe said he compiled employee evaluation forms returned by 12 members of the JSDC Board of Directors.

Riffe listed comments on the evaluation made by the board members without their names. Those comments ranged from positive to negative.

The Executive Committee recommended a 4 percent pay raise on a 3-1 vote with Jamestown Mayor Katie Andersen opposed. The JSDC Board of Directors will act on the recommendation at its December, 8th meeting.

Ms. Ova is currently paid $87,210 per year. The increase would boost her wages to $90,698 per year.

The board has reduced the clawback period built into a real estate sales agreement between the JSDC and Tim Nill, owner of Nill Construction, which is purchasing a lot in the I-94 Business Park in south Jamestown.

It passed on a 4-1 vote with Katie Andersen opposed.
