fostercourthouseCarrington (CSi) On Thursday afternoon, the Foster County State’s Attorney Paul Murphy and Foster County Commission chairman Bill Bauer updated issues in Foster County.

They said that Foster County is currently in a difficult position following the resignation of after five county officials, including the Sheriff, Deputy Sheriff, Auditor, Clerk of Court and Assistant Clerk of Court.

Murphy said no former county official is under investigation and no charges are pending against any individual.

It was indicated that Foster County is working to get all the positions filled.

Anyone with experience as a former or current Clerk of Court or Assistant Clerk of Court and can work full-time or part-time is asked the Foster County Clerk of Court Office as soon as possible.

Foster County residents should see their tax bills in the mail next week
