Use caution slick streets, sidewalks parking lots

Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police is urging residents to stay off the streets on Monday morning . and sidewalks have accumulated freezing rain causing icy conditions, and some falls.

Jamestown sanding equipment has been on the streets since early Monday morning.

Reports have indicated people falling on the ice and a couple of traffic accidents were reported.

Conditions are forecast to worsen with accumulating snow, and possible blowing snow, later Monday with snow accumulation of an inch.

Monday night….another 2 inches of accumulation is in the forecast, and snow likely Tuesday morning, and another inch of snow forecasted.
