BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – A spokesman for North Dakota AAA says gasoline prices continue to drop but they still are higher than the national average.
Automobile club spokesman Gene LaDoucer says the statewide average price for regular unleaded gasoline was $2.39 per gallon on Monday. He says the national average was $2.28 per gallon. In Jamestown, Monday, prices for self-serve regular was $2.29 per gallon.
LaDoucer says gasoline prices in North Dakota have dropped $1.30 a gallon since late June. He says the last time the statewide average was below the current level was in May 2009.
