fitnesscenteractivityJamestown (CSi) 2014 marked a name change for what was previously know as the James River Family YMCA, becoming, James River Family Fitness.

On Wednesday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Executive Director Frank Conlin said, the new year holds in store, continued optimism, adding that those with new year’s resolutions of better heath and fitness are invited to check out the brochure for upcoming classes and activities at James River Family Fitness.

Conlin pointed out that in 2015 there will be some time changes for classes and activities based on requests by patrons, plus adding new offerings.

Swimming lessons, session four, is coming up in January.

He added that coming up the Fitness Center will host the Cabin Fever Days basketball tournaments. On January 24th at the Hansen Center it will be the 4,5 and 6th grade girl’s tournament.

On January 31st it’s the boy’s 4,5, and 6th grade tournament.

The first Dodgeball Tournament for those high school age through older adults will be held on February 7th. Sign ups are being taken.
