1784 RadioShack stores to close, includes Jmst

Jamestown (CSi)  The Buffalo Mall’s RadioShack store is on the company’s closing list.

The national electronics chain filed recently for bankruptcy protection, and 1,784 stores nationwide are slated to close by March 31, 2015.

Other North Dakota RadioSchack stores on the closing list  include Dakota Square Mall in Minot, and the Kirkwood Mall in Bismarck.

Despite filing for bankruptcy, certain stores around the U.S. will continue to operate.

RadioShack was first founded in 1921 and sold electronics, games, consoles and tools.
