Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown City Park Board has approved a lease of the John L. Wilson Arena ice rinks to Pure Hockey the local ice hockey organization, in April to extend the ice hockey season for area players.
The group will lease the ice time for about $10,000, which is the estimated cost for running the arena’s two ice rinks for a month.
Pure Hockey is a not-for-profit hockey group is in the process of raising the funds.
In other business, the park board approved the law firm Dalsted & Ryan, PC as law firm that Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department retains for any legal work.
