Jamestown (CSi)  City crews will begin snow removal in the DOWNTOWN area beginning approximately at 11:00 p.m. Sunday night, February 15 and continue during the night.

Downtown merchants and all public/private schools are asked to have their sidewalks shoveled by 9 p.m. Sunday night, February 15.   Please push snow directly into the street — do not create piles of snow.

Garbage collection schedule as of Feb 11:  The Jamestown City Engineer’s Office says, that due to the Presidents’ Day Holiday, there will be

  • NO garbage pick-up on Monday Feb 16
  • The baling facility will be closed Monday Feb 16
  • Monday’s garbage route will be picked up on Tuesday.
  • Tuesday’s route will be picked up on Wednesday
  • Wednesday & Thursday’s routes will be picked up on Thursday
  • Friday will be picked up Friday Feb 20
