Magdalene Jawaski, 72, of Jamestown, ND, died early Sunday morning on February 22, 2015 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown.

Magdalene was one of a set of triplets born on May 1, 1942 at home to Alex and Olga (Koorney) Jawaski. She went to school in Dickey, ND and then moved to Jamestown with her sisters, dad and step-mother, Annie. Magdalene worked at Alpha Opportunities and the ARC Aide thrift store in Jamestown for many years. She liked wearing jewelry and loved doing crafts, lath hook, embroidery, and working with plastic and yarn. Magdalene won many blue and purple ribbons at the Stutsman County Fair for her craft items. She baby-sat nieces and nephews from time to time.

Magdalene is survived by her triplet sisters, Mae Jawaski and Marcella Jawaski; sisters, Ann Bergerson, Esther Ketterling, Martha (Gerald) Berube, and Agnes (Melvin) Wegner; brothers, Ray (Shirley) Jawaski, and Fred Jawaski; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen; brothers-in-law, Nial, Harry, and Robert; and step-mother.

Mass of Christian Burial: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown, with Father Sean Mulligan officiating.

Visitation: 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Vigil: 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Interment: Assumption Cemetery, Dickey, ND.
