ConleyColleenColleen Helen Conley (Bowen), 60, was welcomed into heaven on February 22, 2015. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, after a brief, but valiant fight against cancer.

Colleen was born in Trenton, North Dakota on March 23, 1954, but was raised in Marion, ND where she graduated high school in 1972. She married Cole Conley on January 19, 1974, and they made their home in Jamestown, ND. She graduated from Valley City State University with a degree in Nursing in 2010.

Colleen loved God with all her heart. Her kindness and joyful nature reflected her close relationship to Him. She brought much happiness to her family, friends, and community. Her absence will be keenly felt by all who knew her.

There are so many wonderful things about Colleen, that there isn’t enough paper or ink in the world to record them all.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Cole Conley, and their daughters Lacey (Justin) Enger, Piper (Josh) Larson, Calli (Kelly) Stoudt, and Hollie (Ernie) Halvorson, as well as five siblings Marilynn (Rick) Lebahn, West Fargo, ND, Bill Bowen, Sr., Marion, ND, Barbara (David) Brown, Longview, WA, Bev Kuska, Ellendale, and Charles, Jr. (Sheree) Bowen, Valley City, ND and many nephews and nieces. Also she leaves behind eight dearly loved grandchildren – Westyn, Charlie, Coltyn, Gracie, Noelle, Elijah, Delia, and Henry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Inis Bowen, and an infant nephew, Cody Kuska.

Funeral Service: 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2015 at Temple Baptist Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Wayne Bangs officiating.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Jamestown.

Interment: Lakeview Cemetery, Marion, ND, at a later date.
