Jamestown (CSi) The James River, Pheasants Forever Chapter #891 5th Annual Banquet, will be held on Friday March 20, 2015, at the Jamestown Knights of Columbus Hall.

Adult Membership and Dinner $50, with the membership including a one year subscription to Pheasants Forever Journal of Upland Conservation with five issues.

Spouse Dinner $20

Ringneck Membership & Dinner $20 and includes a free board game, either Pheasants Forever, or Ducks Forever.

Dinner only (existing members) $20, also $20 for a guest dinner ticket.

Admission includes dinner, toasting and boasting, with like-minded folks.

There are chances to win prizes, and bid on several hunting trips, at less than the full retail price, with bidding starting at one-third of retail cost, including an African Safari, an Argentina Dove Hunt and a Minnesota Black Bear Hunt.

There are also gun raffles.

other prizes and auction items include a trip to Medora, outdoor sports gear, tools, a hand-carved Canada Goose by Bernie Duven, a gourmet dinner prepared by Rosemary McDougall, tickets to the Chanhassen Theater, prints jewelry and guns of all types.

Hemmer added that the banquet brings in about $10,000 each year to support the organization’s efforts in the local area.

Those include pheasant habitat and the TUNE Camp for youth ages 11-16. TUNE stands for The Ultimate Nature Experience, and young people gain experience with guns, archery, fishing and the outdoors.

Most importantly, it’s the opportunity to make a difference for habitat in the James Valley area.
