ReutherjimJamestown (CSi) The Jamestown City Fire Department responded to a fire call at Aggregate Industries in Southeast Jamestown Tuesday evening at about 5:50.

City Fire Chief Jim Reuther says there was a report of flames coming out of a building at 2515 17th St. Southeast.

Reuther says a two inch propane hose attached to equipment was leaking and fueling the fire that damaged part of the building, in the area where machinery was located.

Reuther says one of the first firefighters on the scene was able to shut off the propane at its source, which helped contain the fire.

The fire was under control and out in 11 minutes.

31 city firefighters and five units that responded.

Reuther said the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
