L.A. Law’s Dysart Dies

LOS ANGELES (AP) – The actor who played Leland McKenzie on “L.A. Law” has died. His publicist says Richard Dysart died after a long illness at his home in Santa Monica, California. He was 86.

Dysart won an Emmy for his portrayal of McKenzie. He had also appeared in films like “Pale Rider,” “Being There” and “The Thing.”
