phonepadBismarck, (CSi)  The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) has released a free smart phone application that allows users to renew their vehicle registration, update their permanent address, temporary address and email. The app, called “NDRenewals,” is free and available for download for iPhone and android devices through the app store. The mobile application also includes a reminder to alert motorists through their device when their vehicles are up for renewal.

“This new mobile friendly app allows customers to go online and access and update their motor vehicle information anywhere, anytime,” says Russ Buchholz, NDDOT Information Technology Director. “All you need is your motor vehicle invoice number or the vehicle’s title number to renew your registration.”

This is another way the NDDOT is streamlining communication and making it easier for everyone to access services remotely. People can still go online at www.dot.nd.gov to renew their motor vehicles or visit any of the branch offices located throughout the state.
