GreatRiverEnergy2Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation held its annual meeting Wednesday evening at the Quality Inn & Suites in Jamestown.

The year in review was present by Gary Riffe, and CEO, Connie Ova.

The annual audit report was given by Linda Mohn of Schauer and Associates.

North Dakota Department of Commerce’s John Mittleider spoke on the statewide impact of ag and energy development.

Presentation of awards were made by Jamestown Mayor, Katie Andersen, and Stutsman County Commission Chairman, Mark Klose.

Dakota Spirit AgEnergy received the Growing Jamestown Award during the meeting.

Greg Ridderbusch, vice president for business development and strategy for Great River Energy, the parent company of Dakota Spirit, accepted the award.

John Mittleider, business developer for the North Dakota Department of Commerce, told the gathering that, Dakota Spirit AgEnergy is expected to create about 400 jobs either directly or indirectly.

Featured guest speakers were, from Great River Energy, Greg Ritterbusch, and from Midwest AgEnergy Group, Jeff Zueger.

Jeff Zueger, chief operating officer for Midwest AgEnergy Group, the company that operates Dakota Spirit, said the construction phase of the project began in December 2013.

Looking forward to 2015 presentation was made by the board’s Bob Toso.
