JHS in CERT training excercise

Jamestown (CSi)  Teen Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) exercised wer held on Thursday morning at Jamestown High School.

Jamestown High is in the fifth year of the CERT program which is coming to a close with this final exercise.

Approximately 97 students of the freshman class participated in the disaster exercise, with JHS Drama students acting as “victims,” in a mock bleacher collapse scenario in the gym, and required CERT students to act as responders.

This year’s class is so large, that there were two separate exercises and graduation ceremonies.
