NDHPpatchJamestown (CSi)   The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a one car rollover accident at 1:45 p.m. Friday on I 94 two miles east of Jamestown caused over $10,000in damage, to a Honda Accord.

The patrol says 21 year old  Nathan Agwata, of  Minot, was driving  westbound when a bird struck the windshield. The car then veered into the median and when Agwata attempted to return the car to the road, the car slid across the westbound lanes into the ditch, holding a shallow amount of water, and rolled. The car came to rest on its wheels.

The patrol said Aswata and passenger 20 year old 20 year old Sebstine Nyanumba, also of Minot  were wearing  seat belts. Nyanumba sustained a minor hand cut.

Damage was estimated at $10,000 to the Honda.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol
