Valley City (CSi) The 20th Annual Soap Box Derby  concluded on Sunday, as rain Saturday afternoon pushed back the final racing heats.

Over 40 drivers competed  vying for a spot to compete in the International Soap Box Derby in July this year in Akron, Ohio.

Winners included:

 Emily Kvien finishing 1st in the Super Stock Division.

Jaustin Opatz finished 2nd  in the Super Stock.

 Aurora Ziniel took 1st place in the Stock Division.

 Xavier Thomas  placed 2nd in the Stock Division.

The CSi Cable 68 camera was trained on the finish line on North Central Avenue.

Saturday, Jun 6, 2015

7:30 AM- group picture,

8-9 AM- Driver trial runs,

9:30 AM- opening ceremonies,

9:30 AM-5:30 PM, Derby Racing….More than 40 drivers will compete  for a spot later this summer at the nationals in Akron, Ohio. If there is a heavy rain on Saturday, the race heats would be finished on Sunday if needed.
