Adult library programs set presentations

Jamestown (CSi) Friends of the James River Valley Library System have announced the next series of presentations of Adult Programs

On Wednesday’s Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Development Director, Bill Kennedy said all programs are at the Alfred Dickey Public Library in Jamestown.

They include….

Dina Laskowski, with “A Picture is Worth a Thousand WORLDS.”

Dina, a Professor of Education at the University of Jamestown, will utilize her teaching and life experience, to illustrate how each of us can tell a story through the use of images preserved through photography. The public is invited to bring one or more family photos to the class an experience creating their own story that can be shared with family and friends.

Dina’s Intro to Writing Memoir at the Alfred Dickey Public Library, lower level conference room will be on:

Class 1, June 22 at 5-p.m.

Class 2, June 24 at 5-p.m.

Class 3, July 1 at 5-p.m.

The library hosts a presentation by Jamestown Sun, Publisher, Rob Keller:

June 24^th at 6-p.m., also in the library’s lower level conference room.

His talk is entitled, “Marketing Balance in a Digital World,” outlines tremendous changes in today’s digital world, utilizing his 25 years of marketing and advertising experience with the newspaper in describing how to establish a marketing balance.

On July 8^th at 5-p.m., in the library’s lower level conference room Kyle Dean from Mix 93.3 and KSJB Radio will utilize his six years of experience in North Dakota radio to describe the challenges of getting started in the broadcast media, and the excitement rewards and future of a career that requires communication skills and an ability fo react quickly and accurately.
