2015  Fair Schedule

Jamestown (CSi) The Stutsman 118th  County Fair opens Wednesday July 1, 2015 and runs through the 4th in Jamestown.

The fair opens Wednesday with the project expo, clothing review, exhibits, merchant area and home and hobby. The 4-H judging begins and market beef, sheep, goat and swine reviews will run all day with exhibits up for the rest of the fair.

Gate admission is $5 for adults, $2for kids ages 7-12, and children age 6 and younger get in free.

The midway will have 25 rides from Murphy Brothers Exposition. Fairgoers can purchase a $50 mega ride pass for all three days or a $25 daily pass.

A four-day ride pass is $50 until July 1st at Jetstream and Neighborhood Grocery in Jamestown. Single-day wristbands for all rides are available at the gate for $25.  A four-day gate pass can be purchased for $12.

Rides scheduled includes, The Spinout, Kamikaze, Century Wheel, Kiddy Land as a few rides in the super spectacular category, along with standard rides for children such as the Merry-Go-Round, the Giant Wheel, Starship, Tilt A Whirl and the Sizzler. Game attractions, and concessions – from popcorn to cotton candy and hot dogs.

James River Rodeo Inc. performs at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday the 3rd and 4th, on the north end of the fairgrounds. Sponsored by Jamestown Roughrider Rodeo Association of North Dakota, the event is possible with the support of Erickson Rodeo Bulls and Wilsman Rodeo Co.

The rodeo events include bareback, barrel racing, saddle bronc, goat tying, bull riding, calf roping, ladies and junior breakaway, steer wrestling, team roping and novice barrel racing.

The Don Wilhelm Stock Car Classic will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday Jul 4th at Jamestown Speedway adjacent to the fairgrounds.

Free entertainment each evening includes:

Wednesday: The Roosters, 9-p.m.

Thursday: The Johnny Holm Band, 7:30-p.m.

Friday: The Dirty Word Band, 9-p.m.

Saturday: Nightrider Band, 9-p.m.
