Valley City (CSi) The Valley City Park Band shell is back hosting the Music at the Park, Series, on Wednesday, July 15, starting at 7:15 –p.m.

Entertaining will be Dakota Gospel with Marlin and Wanda Niess along with their grandchildren, Mikey, Katy & Amelia Meester of Valley City.

The band shell was declared structurally unsafe after the flood of 2009. In the interim the series was held at the Barnes County Courthouse grounds.

Those attending are reminded to bring along lawn chairs and blankets. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at the Vault, on Central Avenue.  The performance is free, however a freewill donation is asked to support the City Park Band Shell, go to the Friends of City Park Band Shell group on Facebook for more information.
