Jamestown (CSi) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reports that the release from Jamestown Dam was increased on Monday from 13 cfs to 50 cfs.
Bob Martin in Jamestown said, the release was stepped up due to the reservoir level reaching the flood storage area.
He says Pipestem Dam continues to release 135 cfs., for a combined release of 185 cfs through Jamestown.
Martin expects the releases to stay at those figures, pending any additional heavy rainfall.

Jamestown (CSi) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reports the recent heavy rain events in northern Stutsman County have not significantly affected the reservoir levels or releases at Jamestown and Pipestem Reservoirs.
Pipestem Dam Manager Bob Martin said Friday afternoon, at that time, Jamestown Reservoir was an inch and half below the flood storage level, releasing 13 cfs of water.
The Pipestem Reservoir level was six feet into the flood storage area, which is no concern, with Pipestem Dam releasing 135 cfs, for a combined release of 148 cfs.
Martin says there may be an increase in release from Jamestown Reservoir this coming Monday, when the level may get into the flood storage area.
