Jamestown (CSi) Family BirthPlace at Jamestown Regional Medical Center and HeadStart are sponsoring a car seat safety checkup in Jamestown on Wednesday, August 26, 2015.

The checkup will be from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Early HeadStart parking lot, located at 1311 12th Ave. NE, N.D. Highway 20.

Family BirthPlace and HeadStart say that 90 percent of car seats are used incorrectly. Certified technicians will be available at Wednesday’s event to help the public with their child passenger safety needs.
