pscBISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota’s Public Service Commission has approved ownership transfer of a proposed 200-megawatt wind farm in the southeastern part of the state.
 
     The three-member panel on Monday gave Minneapolis-based Xcel Energy permission to purchase the proposed $300 million North Dakota wind project from Geronimo Energy, which is based in Edina, Minnesota.
 
     Regulatory filings say Geronimo Energy had problems securing financing for the Courtenay Wind Farm near Jamestown.
 
     Xcel earlier agreed to buy all power produced from the 100-turbine wind farm that has the capacity to power up to 105,000 homes.
