carringtonCarrington  (CSi)  Through the LinkND program, a contingent of Bowman community members  in Carrington  observed and gave their thoughts on the strengths and weaknesses of the Carrington community.

LinkND,  assists communities in learning about their strengths and weaknesses as seen through the eyes of a first time visitor.

The Foster County Independent, reports that members of LinkND in Bowman surveyed Carrington on June 1st and 2nd and gave their findings to community members on August 26th.

Bowman Executive Director of Development Teran Doerr remarked that the number one comment was that Carrington was a nice community. It had familiarity with landmarks in the city and individuals were also impressed with the city park, Youth Center and the Potholes and Prairies Birding Festival.

Some issues were brought up including signage lacking for certain services and bringing back economic and aesthetic focus to the Main Street area.
