Groundbreaking, Sheyenne Care Center addition

Valley City (CSi) The groundbreaking ceremony for the Sheyenne Care Center addition in Valley City is planned for Friday September 4, 2015, at 1-p.m., the Sheyenne Care Center Coffee Shop.

Administrator Craig Christianson says the project is expected to take three years to complete, with an estimated cost of $12.5 million.

Christianson says includes a new chapel and more resident living areas north of the existing facility in Valley City.

The project will be in three phases with each phase’s bids up to all contractors for bids.

The footing and foundation bid was awarded to Wick construction.
