UJ presents Shakespeare kickoff Sept 10

Jamestown  (CSi)  It has been 400 years since William Shakespeare walked this earth, and University of Jamestown is celebrating his life and work with a year of Shakespearian events

“Shakespeare at University of Jamestown” is kicking off with Tim Mooney’s one man show “Breakneck Hamlet” at the Reiland Fine Arts Center on Thursday, September 10^th at 7:30 pm.

“Breakneck Hamlet” is a fast moving, 1 hour performance of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” with just one actor.

This event is free, and open to the public.

“Breakneck Hamlet” is the first in a series of monthly events this year at the university, and will be followed by a presentation on London’s Drury Lane Theatre in October. In November, there will be a full theatrical performance of “Kiss Me, Kate”, incorporating Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew”.
