Donald John Perleberg, Pingree, died Sunday, September 6 at New Rockford, ND. Donnie was born February 11, 1974 in Jamestown, ND son of John and Marlys (Diede) Perleberg.
Donnie was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jamestown, and a member of the Pipestem Valley Township Board since 2008. He was instrumental in forming the Pingree Volunteer Fire Department, and served as the Fire Chief. He loved his farm, and his cattle, but more than anything he loved his family. JR, Tanys, Brittany, Hadley & Leah were the center of his universe. He enjoyed his Harley motorcycle, and the trips he and JR took with their bikes. He had fun visiting with all of his friends, playing cards and listening to country music.
Donnie is survived by his mother, Marlys, his son, JR (Tanys Ulmer), step-daughters, Brittany and Leah, and step-granddaughter, Hadley, his sister, Pamela, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, John, maternal grandparents, John and Lydia Diede, paternal grandparents, Alva and Nancy Perleberg.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 10 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, ND with Pastor Suzanne Orlopp and Pastor Rodney Ulmer, officiating.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 9 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 9 at Eddy Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Pingree Cemetery, Pingree, ND.
