UJ reports increased enrollment

Jamestown (CSi) The University of Jamestown reports that enrollment increased  from 963 students in 2014 to 1,005 students this fall.

The increase is due to an additional 297 full-time students, and UJ’s enrollment is up 5 percent over the previous four years.

The university has opened a new Master of Fine Arts in Leadership program beginning this fall at the Jamestown campus and will open the same program in Fargo in January. Students in the programs will be led by Lonnie Pederson.

The university plans to open two additional programs next fall, including a mechanical engineering program and a hockey program. The university has hired a former NFL player and professional coach Dean Stork to recruit and lead the future of the hockey program and Bruce Chehroudi to guide the development and execution of the engineering program.
